If you have known Alexander the Great, who conquered lands and extend the dominions of Greece during his time, this is his home town. The thinkers of ancient time like Socrates, Plato and Aristotle, once resided here. Not only thinkers, but also literary legends like Homer, and scientist doctors like Hippocrates.
The world was once Greece
Greece being at a strategic location surrounded by waters and its intelligent inhabitants produced a sense of wonder, it has once conquered the whole western world by Alexander the Great, and his empire was divided into four among his generals when he died.
She is well known for her Minoan and Mycenean civilization on the mainland, this country influenced the world because of her rich treasures in all aspects of humanity, and her important contribution to the whole world are the writings of her famous intellectuals.
Where to go
Never miss Athens, it was transformed into several phases of central trade by different empires, as part of Greece, it has a rich heritage coming from Romans, Byzantines, and Ottomans. Discover the excellent cultures at the very heart of Athens.
Greece has lots of ruins from the time of ancient civilizations. As you walk along the streets of Greece, imagine Socrates talking to his students using the “Socratic Method of teaching” or Plato assisting Socrates on the roads of Greece.
You can also check lots of historical monuments, museum with artifacts. This is especially helpful for students who are into philosophy and literature.
Traveling Athens in weeks is not enough, because there is so much to see, from the Greek Temples, Parthenon, Odeon of Herodes Atticus, and Olympiad Zeus! Curious where the Olympics started? Take a look at the first Olympics stadium in Olympia. Also don’t forget to pose along the architectural designs of Greece, and you may try acting like St. Paul converting the Greeks to Christianity, it must be real hard work!

If you are talking about Museums, Greece has lots of them! Yeah, real archeological museum of centuries past, where you can find artifacts and you can try on visiting archeological sites. Drop by Benaki Museum and see arts and history in its authenticity. The largest collection is kept at the National Archaeological Museum.
Food
As you walk along the avenues of Greece, you cannot miss the chance of smelling their baked breads and their food. It has been imitated around the world over and over again, but it is always different to have a taste of Culinary Greece itself!
Skiing, mountains and beaches
Good news, they also have skiing, so for you guys who loved skiing try out Peloponnese Peninsula or Northern Greece!
Imagine yourself growing up with the big personages of history in the island of Crete, or tryout the feeling a hot island of Santorini!
